Starting a new business?

Starting a new business is exciting! But it can also be scary, and overwhelming, and it can be hard to know what legal aspects of the new business you need to address. Siskiyou Law can help you with your small business needs, whether it’s helping you decide whether you want to have an LLC or a corporation, or creating an agreement about how you will manage your business, which can be especially important if you are in partnership with others.

Business formation package: Includes attorney advice (initial consultation and consultation throughout process), state registration, federal tax I.D. registration, preparation of operating agreement/bylaws and explanatory materials for LLCs, corporations and non-profit organizations in Oregon.

Buying/Selling a business: Attorney advice (initial consultation and consultation throughout process), document preparation, execution and review associated with buying or selling a business.

“A la Carte”: Sometimes clients don’t require the full business formation package. In this case, single documents, such as Articles of Organization, or an updated operating agreement may be all you need for your new business and those will be priced individually.

Consultation & document review: Many business clients already have started or completed business-related legal documents but could use some guidance on whether they have properly created them, or are missing anything. We can review your documents for you and also provide advice around creating your LLC or deciding on whether to form an entity or remain a sole proprietor, or a host of other similar questions small business owners have.

Real property

At Siskiyou Law we assist clients with real property-related legal needs, including drafting deeds transferring ownership or adding new owners to their deed, to reviewing documents such as deeds, property sales agreements and rental agreements.

& More

At Siskiyou Law we also provide a range of miscellaneous legal services including notarization of legal documents, review of other types of documents and contract creation.
